In the 3rd quarter of 2018, the average nominal wage of an employee has been 161 783 tenge, BNews.kz reports referring to the Statistics Committee of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan.
In sectors, the highest nominal wage has been observed in finance and insurance — 317.4 thousand tenge, by 2 times higher compared to the average republican level, in occupational, scientific and technical activities — 290.2 thousand tenge (by 1.8 times). In industry — 232.2 thousand tenge (by 1.4 times), in construction — 229.2 thousand tenge (by 1.4 times), in the sphere of information and communications — 224.9 thousand tenge (by 1.4 times). The lowest level of a nominal wage is observed in agricultural, forestry and fisheries — 106,4 thousand tenges, by 34.2% less than the average republic figure.
The highest nominal wage has been seen in the Atyrau region — 310.6 thousand tenge, which is by 1.9 times higher compared to the average republic figure. That in the Turkestan region is 98.8 thousand tenge, 38.9 percentage points below the average figure throughout the republic.
