President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with Rolf Draak, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the World Trade Centres Association (WTCA), and Mehran Eftekhar, the Director for Corporate Services of Nest Investments HOLDINGS, BNews.kz reports referring to a press service of the Akorda.
The sides have discussed the perspective directions between the Association and the ‘Astana’ International Financial Centre, including attracting major world corporations and financial institutions to Kazakhstan and increasing the role of our state as an international centre of economic activity, as well as the subsequent use of a complex of buildings of EXPO-2017.
The WTCA is an international non-political organization developing the global trade and investments. World trade centres are linked to each other by one network with offices of such large corporations as Eni, Lukoil, Panasonic, J.P.Morgan, Bank of New York and so on.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Kazakh-European business forum in the City of Brussels.
During the official visit, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev met with Philippe of Belgium.
In addition, Nursultan Nazarbayev also met with representatives of the business circles during the working visit.
